European Short Film Co-production Forum.
Euro Connection is the marketplace for short film co-production in Europe. The next edition will take place on Tuesday 4th February and Wednesday 5th February 2014 in Clermont-Ferrand.
Producers from the fifteen associated countries to the 2014 edition are invited to send their project to the national correspondent in their country (see list and contacts for correspondents in application form). The deadline for receiving projects is October 31, 2013.
short film projects (fiction, animation, creative documentary) under 40 minutes
presented by a production company located in one of the 15 associated countries
for which partial funding has been secured in its country of origin (see details in form)
for which a co-production partner in Europe is wanted
for which shooting shall start after May 2014
whose producer commits to attend and pitch his/her project in case of selection

This pitching and networking event aims at fostering partnerships between European production companies, funders and broadcasters for short film projects. Some 16 projects will be presented from the associated countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italia, Poland, Portugal, Romania Sweden and the United Kingdom.
Selected producers are invited to Euro Connection. Invitation covers hotel and meals for 4 nights. Travel costs are the responsibility of the producers. Additional producers may be invited in collaboration with our correspondents or with partner film & media organisations. The winner of the Baltic Pitch Forum will be invited to Euro Connection.
Selected projects and invited producers are detailed in the Book of Projects and Producers to be published here on January 13, 2014. Pitching sessions and one-on-one business meetings are organised with participants. A 150 industry delegates are expected to attend these two days of networking and deal opportunities. The registration form for accredited industry visitors wishing to attend the forum will also be available here on January 13, 2014.
