For all Short Film Market visitors:
Access to the Market is reserved to accreditation holders. Make sure you've filled out and sent your online accreditation form. You can check confirmation of your accreditation by looking up for your name/company in the list of attending professionals. During the week preceding the Short Film Market, the pigeonhole numbers of accreditation holders will be available (see .xls file of attending professionals available for download on this site).
The Short Film Market video library and its online extension are reserved for the use of accreditation holders with a valid subscription to Pro Services (the online extension being strictly accessible to registered users of the Short Film Market video library).

The Clermont-Ferrand online video library is an extension of the Short Film Market video library. Its access is strictly limited to the attending professionals of the Short Film Market who viewed at least one film at the Short Film Market video library in Clermont-Ferrand.

Before visiting Clermont-Ferrand:

Browse the Short Film Market catalogue on this site, and use the search options to identify films you'd like to see (extended search options are available to Pro Services account holders).
Use your Pro Services account to save play lists of films you plan to watch. Your play list(s) will then be directly accessible for you to play at the Short Film Market video library and later on its online extension.
Download the programme of Market screenings and note down in your agenda those you do not want to miss out. Market Screenings are a great opportunity to see the latest productions on offer from distributors or film agencies. You can catch them on the big screen and meet their representatives (detail of each programme is available in pdf).
Arrange meetings with exhibitors who have a stand, who can give advice, key info, and show their catalogue of films.

Pro Services account holders can easily identify and get in touch with people and organisations who are at the Short Film Market with a stand with the icon in the list of attending professionals.

When you are in Clermont-Ferrand:

Upon arrival pick up your accreditation at Festival reception desk. Ask for your copy of the Industry Guide and Short Film Market catalogue from the pigeonholes desk (both desks are in the Chavignier room).
Go directly to the Short Film Market and book a slot at the video library (bookings have to be made one day in advance, for a maximum of 2 hours). Remember to have your Pro Services account codes with you – as the video library is reserved for the use of Pro Services account holders with a valid account. Video library is open the first saturday at 9:00 am to friday at 4:00 pm.
Please note that in addition to your own play lists of films, selections of shorts from various partners are also accessible for viewing at the video library under partner programmes buttons.
Your Short Film Market badge will of course give you entrance to Festival screenings (check programmes in Festival catalogue or from your Smartphone).

After your stay:

Continue viewing films on the online extension of the video library, where your play lists of films and comments will be available, as well as partner programmes buttons. Please note that this service is restricted to Pro Services account holders who used at least once the Short Film Market video library during the latest edition in Clermont-Ferrand.

You are distributing / promoting films

Before visiting Clermont-Ferrand:

Use your Pro Services account to check out regularly the list of attending professionals. Icons will direct you to visitors with an acquisition profile or with a stand at the Market .
Save your line-up of films in your Pro Services account, using the online Short Film Market Catalogue to tick your titles. Create/update your target groups in My Directories, using the online list of attending professionals. Download the .xls file of attending professionals with their pigeonhole numbers (available during the week preceding the event).
Carefully read the MEDIA Forum schedule for presentations of acquisition policies you do not want to miss.

When you are in Clermont-Ferrand:

Upon arrival pick up your accreditation at Festival reception desk. Ask for your copy of the Industry Guide and Short Film Market catalogue from the pigeonholes desk (both desks are in the Chavignier room).
Hand out your promo material to our volunteer staff who will do the dispatch (hand out your documentation and list of pigeonhole numbers).
Do not miss out the buyers' presentations at the MEDIA Forum for the latest updates in aquisition policies.
Meet the people you regularly do business with, take new contacts, speak with festival programmers and gather knowledge on current market trends.

Once you’re back from CF:

See who watched your films and send follow-up messages when appropriate. This option is only accessible for the films for which you are listed as Contact or Sales person.

You are producing or developing new projects

Before visiting Clermont-Ferrand:

Mark down the attending professionals you'd like to meet and save them in your Directories from your Pro Services account.
If you seriously plan to enter coproductions, look at the Book of Projects selected at Euro Connection and send your registration form to access the pitching sessions and attend the meetings.
Arrange meetings with exhibitors, i.e film and media orgranisation who are coming with a stand where you will be able to collect information on opportunites with key festivals, companies, organisations, funds and resources available in different regions or countries.
Download the .xls file of attending professionals with their pigeonhole numbers (available during the week preceding the event).

When you are in Clermont-Ferrand:

Upon arrival pick up your accreditation at Festival reception desk and ask for your copy of the Industry Guide from the pigeonholes desk (both desks are in the Chavignier room).
Drop messages early in the pigeonholes of people you want to meet (keep in mind that dates of attendance may sometimes change).
Use the MEDIA Rendez-Vous area for your meetings with the filmmakers, industry delegates and other producers you plan to meet.
Visit stands and their representatives from several countries to collect valuable information, gain visibility for your current films and get some feedback on your new projects.

After your stay:

You are a director, composer, actor...

Before visiting Clermont-Ferrand:

Prepare some communication material: business cards, film postcards, portfolio, DVDs (with English/French subtitles), screening schedule, current projects presentations...

Meet filmmakers at the Festival's Expresso meetings every morning, 9:30 – 13:30 (starting on the first Sunday of the Festival)
The Bar des Réalisateurs, runned by the SRF, is open to filmmakers at the Hotel Oceania Monday to Friday, from 18:00 to 20:00 for networking around a drink.
Pay a visit to L’Atelier and its live film set and postproduction on display in partnership with top French schools.
Attend some of the presentations at the MEDIA Forum to get sharper insight into how buyers and distributors work.
